We took three DVD's to the Trade in store we had used before - this time they only offered $1 per movie - they were all unopened, so we don't think we will be trying that approach again

Sage sold a guitar and amp earlier this year through All Classifieds - the $ went towards her 2011 overseas adventure.

Have started a few eBay listings again, with good results for a Lion King DVD. Sold the final DVD through a classifieds board on a forum - I think we will try this again as there are no fees.

Sales have been continuing (even if the blogging has not). Soccer season is nearly over, so hopefully that will leave more time to focus on the challenge.

Yes, Sage recorded another ep. This time around she will be keeping the $ to put towards her own gap year trip away in 2011.

Update of sales for 2010:

All these sales were directly to second hand shops - the DVD's to a shop that specialises in DVD's, games and books. They were brand new DVD's that I had won in a competition, and not new releases. I received on average what I would if I had sold on eBay by the time eBay & Pay al fees were removed. The ipod and radio component went to cash convertors - sold on the day before we left on our trip

Sage sold another 4 CD's, and a DVD on Fishpond.

Need to get back into the eBay listing habit - and now that Spring has arrived (well in terms of the calendar anyway), I will start to explore market options.

Slow moving

Another DVD sold via the work bulletin board, and we have a batch of books on Ebay, including a collectable Grug book which aleady has bids on it.

One DVD sold via work bulletin board - and interest in another. Not sure how long we should keep these items advertised on the board.

Two more Ebay sales paid for - Perfume and Cosmetics. Items have been packaged and posted. 

No interest so far on the DVD's listed on the work bulletin board.

2 gone - 998 to go

Item #2 sold - cosmetics sold via Ebay. Parcel is packed waiting to be posted tomorrow. 

The other items we listed had closing bids - will list as sold once payment is processed.

We currently have some new DVD's listed on our work bulletin boards - will see how they go. I need to get some more Ebay listings ready, but unexpected work travel plans have put a delay on organising this.
